Accomplished Minds LLC Residential Facility is committed to creating a healthy, safe, and  emotionally stable family environment tailored to the needs of intellectually and developmentally  disabled persons. Our mission is centered on protecting individuals’ rights and ensuring that every  person under our care can fully participate in the life of their community. We are devoted to fostering  an environment where positive, dignified, and respectful approaches are not just the standard but the  foundation of all our services.

Owner - Terra Twymon

 

Hi, I’m Terra Twymon, the founder of Accomplished Homes. I’ve always had a heart for helping others and a passion for creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can thrive. With years of experience in care, community work, and business, I opened this home to provide individuals with a place that truly feels like family. I believe in dignity, independence, and person-centered care, and I’m committed to making sure every resident feels seen, valued, and supported. At Accomplished Homes, this isn’t just work, it’s purpose.

Executive Director - Deborah Tuck

Our Executive Director brings over a decade of experience working with individuals with special needs, families, and youth in both educational and residential care settings. With a strong background in human services and psychology, she is passionate about creating supportive environments where individuals can thrive. She has worked in leadership roles at organizations such as AIDB, Head Start, and The Sunshine House, where she provided direct care, advocacy, and program oversight. Her experience includes family partnership building, individualized goal-setting, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all service areas. She leads with compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the people and families we serve.

Director of Operations – Danie Twymon

With over 27 years of experience as a Director of Human Resources, our Director of Operations brings a wealth of knowledge in overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting staff development. She has led with integrity and excellence throughout her career, managing company-wide policies, training, and strategic direction. Her passion for helping people extends beyond the workplace — she is deeply committed to serving the community and creating environments where individuals can feel safe, respected, and empowered. At Accomplished Homes, she plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations while keeping our mission and values at the heart of everything we do.

Behavioral Support Supervisor - Sandra Tuck

Sandra Tuck brings over 35 years of experience in teaching special education and behavioral support, with a strong focus on mentoring and guiding direct care staff. She is a four-time Teacher of the Year and was honored as District Secondary Teacher of the Year for her dedication, leadership, and hands-on approach. In her role as Behavioral Support Supervisor, she ensures that staff are equipped to provide compassionate, consistent care while promoting positive outcomes for every individual. Sandra also proudly serves as a board member of the Talladega County Schools, continuing her lifelong commitment to education and advocacy.

Nurse - TuWanda Worrills

Tawanda Worrliis is a skilled nurse and certified MAS (Medication Administration Services) nurse with over 25 years of healthcare experience. Her extensive background includes providing compassionate, high-quality care across a variety of settings, with a focus on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Tawanda’s knowledge, attention to detail, and calm leadership make her an invaluable part of the team, ensuring health, safety, and dignity for every individual served.

Positive Behavior Intervention Specialist - Bria Tuck

Bria Tuck is a dedicated Positive Behavior Intervention Specialist who brings both passion and expertise to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She integrates effective communication and behavior strategies to help individuals express themselves and succeed in the group home setting. Bria is known for her calm leadership, staff collaboration, and commitment to creating a positive, person-centered environment for everyone she serves.
